ridiculous start to the season, anyone who saw this coming I`ll be more than welcoming of tonight`s lottery number please

Wins aside, it`s the entertainment level I`m equally loving. It`s not going to be like this all season so I`ll simply enjoy while it`s happening

In all honesty, I would be fuming if it was the other way around and Lindgren hit Pastrnak like that. It would've been sweeter if he got his revenge with a cleaner hit later on IMO but it's good to see him stick up for himself. His "what did I do?" reaction to the ref was hilarious, though.
It was definitely a late hit, but at least Pastrnak didn't target the head or, ahem, use the boards to *legally* try to separate someone from the game. I'm actually a little surprised that resulted in an injury to Lindgren. The shoulder hit on Frederic was devastating. A great check, actually.

Pasta's game has changed. He gets nailed often (because he is SO good) but he is hatting back much more than he used to.
Its also incredibly noticeable how much harder he is to knock off the puck this year. Even in his rocket winning year, it didn’t take much physically to separate him from the puck. This year, he’s much better along the boards and in transition. Looks much, much stronger and many of his scoring plays have shown it.

He’s no Marchand along the boards but there is hope for him yet. ;)

Totally agree. Hope Lindgren is alright, seemed fairly innocent, but didn't see it coming. I like that Schneider kid, had a couple solid hits that shift that were hard and clean. I liked the way the Bruins responded even more.

I am sure they won't be able to keep this up.....well who knows?

At this moment I am just enjoying the ride.

I could not watch last nights game because I am not willing to pay a monthly fee for a game or two. I had it on the radio and it never faded because a local radio channel has the games and I have the tv on NHL Network because evertime a team scores they let you see the goals and sometimes they even show about 5 minutes of live action. So why pay $9.99 when you can do that and then watch the game highlights on NHL.com.
Is anyone watching the Avs Blue Jackets game today?? I might but it depends on what I am doing with winter approaching I am getting everything around the house closed up for the season.

I don’t mind listening to the occasional game on the radio . It’s a nice change of pace but most people wouldn’t want to do it regularly.

I think even the most optimistic poster might have expected .600 at best with all the injuries. Just incredible.

I agree completely.

However, I didn't lose any sleep over Lindgren not being in rest of game since he was clearly hunting Bergie and Pasta.

Nothing against Lindgren, all were clean hits but I was really glad Pasta gave him a shot -- late or otherwise. Too bad he was hurt, but play a physical game expect a physical and emotional reaction. Foligno smoked a few Rangers -- I've zero doubt it was because Lindgren was targeting our skill guys.

dirty play by pasta.
premeditated blindside late hit
Please tell me you are joking......

Was it late? Yes.
Was it blindside? :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Lindgren is a tough boy but he's no rookie. You bang Pasta and Bergie against the boards hard like that you should not only anticipate but should expect ALL reactions.

If you skate around the rink when Tom Wilson is on the ice and don't have your head up, it might not work out well. You nail Pasta and Bergie early in a game -- might want to use your peripheral vision and be alert.

If Lindgren were a caveman, his DNA would have left the gene pool last night.

He is falling down in his own a lot less too.

it was pretty much a blindside hit. Pasta was trailing the play.
luckiliy he didnt really hit him hard and kinda just coasted into him, but it was def cheap.
Id be fuming if that happened to mcavoy or lindy

Thank god the days of “retaliate on the scoreboard” are gone. I don’t miss Cassidy’s brand of hockey at all.

I listened to them call the game because I do not get ESPN+ and my laptop doesn't like streaming of the game. The guys who call the game are good and the Sat morning hockey show is also good.

The post-game and anything else to do with hockey is about as poor as it can be. Those guys hate hockey and do not understand the game. The only ones who listen are pink hats
I downloaded the 98.5 app just so I could listen to the games at my cabin, I like listening to them because they call the game like it should be called. Most other teams radio personalities are such homers , Sirott and Beers obviously lean Bruins but always talk about the other team in a fair manner. They are by far 2 of my favorite radio sports personalities.
