The second goal? Come on that was so so so soft. We were winning 2-1 and he let in a goal that he does stop 99 times out of 100.

We weren't outplayed either. We played really well tonight. For some damn reason all 3 areas of our play, offense, defense and goaltending can't be good at once.

I think today was our best game. I can't blame this on Cory though, one of the goals was soft the other looks soft but when you have a weird bounce it can throw you off sometimes, especially when it's a lucky quick slap shot and besides you can't expect us to beat the Canucks 2-1 anyway. Luongo is the reason we lost. We did everything we could offesnively and he was able to come up with the saves.

do you guys honestly expect to win games by only scoring one or two goals a game especially with how our defense has played recently?

aside from the Edmonton & Islanders game there's not a single game where we're scored more than two.

We're 27th in GF, our goalies and defense have to be playing amazing to even win a game. It won't make a difference what goalie plays.

exactly we have played tons of games like this last year and this year....last year I was jeezz they just ran into bad luck but now the devils expect to lose games and pd system may put a better skilled team in position to win but this team is not thriving in this system so I don't think management has much of a choice

The fact that he put two of the most disappointing players in the league, 1 and 2 in SO is pretty hysterical. As soon as I saw that they were going, I knew there was absolutely no chance were winning.

He's a UFA and has a manageable contract in terms of salary cap. if at the 65 game mark he has 40 points, a team that struggles on the PP will give up a 1st for him. A late 2nd round pick won't cut it.

Please stop pinning this loss on Deboer. Schneider was absolutely unquestionably awful. It starts and ends there. The first goal was an embarrassment and the second wasnt much better. The devils cleaned up their own zone and he was barely tested. Make no mistake about it, we lost a point because of him.

The Elias/Lokti/ Jagr line was excellent and I loved the Gelinas/ Larsson pairing. Fourth line was pretty solid as well with being physical and cycling.

We pissed away a point tonight.

Everyone on this team with the exception of Elias should just walk in a whip a wrister or take a slap shot. None of them are good enough to pull off a deke of any kind.
