I was thinking the same thing, Zajac is a bum, he has no confidence, he's the biggest bust ever in the league, why put him out there when you have Brunner? Deboer is an idiot. Lou must be fired

I disagree, I don't think this falls on Cory we simply lost because Luongo was able to keep them in the game... that weird bounce off the boards is not really what I would consider a soft goal.

The second goal? Come on that was so so so soft. We were winning 2-1 and he let in a goal that he does stop 99 times out of 100.

We weren't outplayed either. We played really well tonight. For some damn reason all 3 areas of our play, offense, defense and goaltending can't be good at once.

Our shooting percentage since 12-13 started has got to be the worst in the league. Enough of this bad luck. The system no longer is doing anything for us. Even when we do score this year, it's usually not on one of these heavy forechecking shifts.

it wasnt a weird bounce, it was a mishandling of the puck. Games on cory. 14 shots, 2 goals. Doesnt matter what the other goalie did. They provided 2 goals for you and they gave up few shots/chances. Gotta make those easy saves.

I was thinking the same thing on my way home from work tonight*. If he can score 50 points or so he should be able to pick up a 2nd round pick.

I agree, but Brunner has done nothing in his two shootout appearances so far either. Obviously he tried to shake it up with Zajac and Henrique. Sucks because Elias and Henrique were so close.

Hanging tonight on Pete is just blind hatred. He put the right lineup out there to win and they for the most part executed against a VERY good team.
