I think it is a fair discussion here..both kids look to be elite talents, I am not saying Hughes will be better than Dahlin, but on a skill set POV, they look pretty similar..

He is playing against Kazakhstan. He might turn out to be super great one day. But these guys are the worst quality of competition hes ever going to play.

I doubt Hughes plays this year, with Seattle coming in, not sure teams want to burn a year of ELC on some of these kids....not sure what the Canucks overall roster would look like protection wise, but if Hughes plays one game this season he will have to be protected for the expansion draft...I personally would do it, but that means someone else will be unprotected.

That’s my point. What does it matter what the score is? Play for the full 60 regardless of the score

Overall I’ve been pretty impressed with USA all game, and I’ve also been quite impressed with certain people on the Kazakhstan team.

It’s been a pretty fun game even though it’s 6-1
