For F sakes let slaf off the leash. You drafted him to develop him in the NHL and break his confidence? It’s a fine line they are toying with. Let’s bust our 1 OV. SEND HIM DOWN!

They're doing it again.

Might try to catch this one live for a change, crappy weather and get some of the boys over. Some of the Maori guys are still pretty steamed about not winning the rugby world cup and might be the tonic to chill some. Need to stock up on some brew and some of the guys are pretty good gardeners so that always makes a fun time more fun!;)
Hope they eviscerate those mutts as it was not cool to remove a splendid golf-course to put this crap in its place:mad:

It’s not even moving Newhook to the wing. Just switch him and Monahan for now. Slaf and Anderson need someone to slow down the play and Pearson/Gallagher need someone that can skate.

Just do something. Those two lines aren’t producing.
Stop it. I'm already confused with who our actual second line is.

So where is the contributory craptitude coming from? Is it mostly on the Cement-Handed Donkey doing fly-bys around the net? Or a good part of it falls on the other two for other reasons? Perhaps Newhook might best be suited to the wing?

I don't think that line will last once Dvorak get back in the line-up.

Who knew?

To think that all of this time, our major father/ son focus for a Habs player having a dad who was a pro team player was about Petry.

I did! I saw it somewhere when Ylonen first came over to NA since his dad played with Joel Bouchard.

I don't think there is a player in the league who does more useless skating around the rink than JA.

Habs on the 2nd of their 3-game road swing and they're cooking.

Owners of a 5-2-2 record so far, they've racked up 10 points in their last 6 games. They even managed to take the Vegas Knights into extra time in their most recent match up.

Their success didn't go unnoticed as one big name Vegas resident took it upon herself to greet some of them in person following their performance.

From the bright lights of Vegas and Céline Dion, the team has now headed to that whole other world in ... Arizona.

Does anyone have an arena to spare, by any chance?

One player in particular is once again having a remarkable season debut. Sean Monahan has put up 5 goals and 3 assists so far this season while posting a stellar 60.5% faceoff success ratio. He's that valued, reliable top 6 center that all teams dream about.

He and the team are playing so well that it's now become a hot topic about what should be done with him, once his one-year deal expires.

Some wouldn't hesitate to re-up him given his age and expected production, however, the spectre of past health issues looms large in the mind of others who would prefer that the Habs cash in on him, at the trading deadline.

Nice problem to have.

As far as lineup updates go, we’ve now learned that Allen will get the start tonight and that Ylönen will draw in for Pezz.

Meantime, this other guy is getting real close to resuming active duty, quite possibly this Saturday.

Not a moment too soon, as it would allow for far greater lineup flexibility, which was compromised at centre since losing Dach for the season.

Finally, all eyes continue to be on this rookie who is facing challenges as he's learning the ropes at the NHL level. He won't be the last young player to have such a big spotlight cast on him in a major hockey market as the team doesn't appear to want to send him down for an AHL stint.

You do you, Slaf.
