The whole fanbase is gonna turn hard on Slaf it won't be pretty.

We literally watched this happen just a couple years back and ran a high draft pick out of town long before we knew what we had.

Now said player is playing really well on a sweetheart deal for another team.

I don't think it's a coincidence the big Canadian markets haven't won a cup in so long.

Yes, Wright is such a catch :sarcasm:

A true 1st liner would produce regardless, weren't those your exact words? Pacioretty did produce despite playing with DD more. That's a 1st liner, Gallagher was a 2nd liner. A very good one.
Gallagher produced goals. He put up 30 goals a season and drove to the net like no other player in the league. Injuries limited what he could do. It wasn't just about points with him. He was an agitator and would distract the hell out of opposing goalies. He was never going to be a point per game guy but a solid complimentary winger who would cause chaos. He never had the talent that a Nick Suzuki does but he played a totally different game.

I seriously wonder what our pick would’ve been had we not hired Bobrov. We all watched the video, he was demanding and pounding the table for Slaf
