Gallagher produced goals. He put up 30 goals a season and drove to the net like no other player in the league. Injuries limited what he could do. It wasn't just about points with him. He was an agitator and would distract the hell out of opposing goalies. He was never going to be a point per game guy but a solid complimentary winger who would cause chaos. He never had the talent that a Nick Suzuki does but he played a totally different game.
1st liners produce, Gallagher had a career high 54 points. Suzuki also PKs so he's not also just about points either. Suzuki is way more of a 1st liner than Gally ever was.

Just getting the feeling the Slaf Era isnt going to end well.

Media will start getting on him, then fans then management will have a problem. We all know Habs will start publicly taking it out on him if things dont change

Nice pass to a prime goal chance by Slaf and once again that donkey didnt even make a shot, just passed it to no one.

Suzuki's a skilled point scoring center. Gallagher a physical winger. Totally different roles. Nobody would ever expect Gallagher to lead the way points wise. He'd give you 30 goals and create havoc.
