Fucale put up better numbers than that and I wouldn't consider him a good goalie.

Fucale, Hart and maybe as far back as Price have been the only high profile goalies to play for Team Canada before they played there.

Canada needs to get a better program for goalies.

Reminds me a bit of that 7-3 game at the 2010 Olympics.

Canada jumped all over the Russians from puck drop and the game was over really before any real drama could take place.

This was obviously the opposite with a similar result.

Worst night in my life as a sports fan. Really never was disappointed even close as terribly as that night. Barely watched the rest of the olympics.

That’s one goalie who is still far off from an all star in 13 years. Mason was the last you can say did anything. That’s brutal for Canada. Sieve after sieve for our team in this tournament. People have on Price for “playing behind team canada” yet he gets the job done which our goalies never do in these tournaments.

Canada still finished 2nd though, while Sweden lost to everyone else. How does Sweden beat anyone 17-1, have that team beat Czechslovakia and Sweden lose to Czechslovakia. I just had assumed Canada starting punching up refs because of bad penalty calls and played the whole game down 2 men

One goalie since.. Steve Mason or Carey Price 13/14 years ago. It’s a big problem every year.

OK but Hart won silver in 17 and gold in 18. That's pretty recent success.
