Feels like a coaching thing to me, I’ve seen lots of these guys dangle around in junior like they’ve had the puck on a string.

Have you considered they play against bigger, faster and much more defensively skilled opponents here than they do in junior? The string gets shorter as you go up the tiers.

Rickyism aside, I think Russia has lots of skill but looked a little disjointed and susceptible to odd man rushes vs Czech Republic and Canada will eat that up if it continues.
