Canada playing with a lot of spirit now. They will score at some point but will they score 4.

I worry about this group without Lafreniere. I think we're going to regret leaving some of the talent at home for team first guys.

Again, it’s not about scoring 4 (which I doubt will happen - Russia is outnumbering Canada in their own zone and pressuring well), but rather Canada not allowing Russia to score any more.

I just don’t see any “elite skill” from the Canadians, just trying to grind out a win. Surely one of these first round picks has got to have some puck skills.

Yeah the lack of puck skill today has been noticeable.

Russians have the puck on the string in comparison.

Russia wins so many puck battles. It’s kind of hard to believe. But it’s a round robin game though.

Last year's team was the same, they had the puck often but couldn't get into scoring areas or create chances.

The WJC is often a whirlwind. These players are so young that you can't count on anything.

Russia loses to the Czechs, who then lose to the Germans, and now Russia is kicking Canada's butt.

I'm hoping this game signals a breakthrough for Russia, but you can't count on that either.

Feels like a coaching thing to me, I’ve seen lots of these guys dangle around in junior like they’ve had the puck on a string.

You clearly have no idea what that expression means

Please then, explain to me how Smith is controlling the game when in my opinion he has played pretty bad (along with most of his teammates).

Because in my opinion, the only way you think he could be controlling the game is if you are a biased Devils fan. If I made a bad assumption then I apologize.

Looking forward to hearing your explanation!
