We started last year with a 4-1 win over a full strength Avs, so let's not start kissing each other's asses yet.

Some encouraging signs here but there's a long way to go.

He's never been known for getting shots off quickly. He misjudged his spot, that can be expected for a while as he's missed a lot of games.

That's news to me. As far as I remember, he's very much known for an instant release on his wrister, that seems to come out of nowhere, because the onlooker can't see him go into a pre-shot motion.

I'm guessing you are young. Never watched Brett Hull, or many other teams. Tarasenko has a legendary shot but he's not one-timing it like Ovie.
