Agreed, I was pretty impressed with Forbort's game.
 
Seto looked okay, has speed and had a couple of chances in the 3rd.

Brown, if he was a ref he would have been great cuz a good ref is one that you do not notice. But as a hockey player, he is not in a good place right now.

The lines all looked like they did not practice together much in the last couple of weeks.

Nobody was crashing the net at all

They struggled for possession, All night. It's hard to get effective shots when you have to chase the puck a lot.

SJ right now gives the Kings top players a lot of problems.
 
Going to need to find Kopitar some wings.

Maybe try that. Currently the worst top line in the NHL.

That's not possible, when Kopitar is your number one center.

Kopitar is probably a top five Center in the NHL. That alone makes your top line good.

Because they lost the 1st game by 1 goal against the WC Champs, and based on their play in 1 game you somehow have determined they have no chance to make the playoffs.

Chicago got rolled very bad as well, so just figure if they lost their 1st game, looking brutal doing it, they must be going to miss the playoffs as well.

Sutter has to go. He is the only coach in the league that thinks its smart to put all the pressure on your only 3 scoring threats by playing them with nothing but plugs. Why no Dowd? Why play nolan/plugdreoff/cliffplug down 1 with 3 minutes left down 1? The NHL has evolved. Sharks played no plugs and had no problems. Insane that sutter cant adapt to todays nhl.

This again uhhh.

Cause Sutter makes the roster....And causes injuries to players. We are back to Kopitar has never played with good wingers (Ever) are we ?

I didn't say the kings will miss the playoffs because they lost game 1 genius. I just pointed out that the team out there sucks. Get it now?

Be careful . You sound like me . No one will listen . People on these boards fail to realize the game has evolved and our management has a hard time to adapt. I think people will wake up more after we miss the playoffs again.

??? He is right. Cant make the playoffs ir atleast win anything with a coach who plays forwards for only their D exce ppl t they suck at D. No skill, No Win. Welcome to the 2016 NHL. Sharks had ZERO plugs and ZERO problem winning. Never a doubt.

If the miss the playoffs, they miss them. Management most likely will make moves.

Until it gets to that point though, can we root for our Kings ? Am I allowed to do that ?

How many Cups do the Sharks have ? Since the don't have any problems winning.
