Obviously this is a clunker that occasionally happens, but it's still tough to be optimistic with the personnel on defense.

Schultz and Greene are extremely limited no upside players.

What's scary is that the Muzzin-Doughty pairing has been on the ice for 3 of the 4 goals. Yikes.

As I mentioned in the first sentence of the post, this is one of those clunker games where no one looks good. I am not basing my thoughts on the defensive personnel on this game. I am more talking about the long term look of the team, there is little upside to having Greene and Schultz in the lineup. They are both bad NHL d-man.

I doubt Schultz is a long term main stay this season. I think he is simply being rewarded for a good training camp he had. I wouldn't count on him playing more than 20 games this season. Greene sadly is going nowhere, only thing that will take him out of the lineup is really poor play or injury.

Friendly sharks fan living in New Zealand

I stayed home from work to watch this game...finally, nhl season! All the games are on mid day for me, so I have to watch them in a small window at work.. but not today...

Matt Jones seems pretty decent. Its weird seeing Erhoff on the Kings.

Seems like a flukey early season game. I dont expect this dominance every game this year...

Lets just hope no one gets injured.
