This is a bad hockey team.
I'm fine with that as long we keep at least one of the firsts.Tank is the guy but it’s going to cost us Kravy or a 1st

ForwardStar 1: Chytil
Star 2: Halak
Star 3: Trochek
Halak has been outstanding since December. Chytil is this team's best 5 v 5 player. Pay him.
Bye Kravs.
Need to hope Chytil stays healthy. Every time he goes on a surge like this he gets hurt for two weeks.
We get 1 point against a good team on the road and there are 23 pages of complaints. We get 2 points and there are 4 pages. Too funny.
Starting to round into form, hopefully they don't forget everything they have learned over the next 10 days.
Good game, Halak was a stud.
Schneids with 2 points.
Fil is one confident mofo, hope he sticks around and hopefully he starts to get rewarded for being our best 5v5 scoring forward.
Laf hasn't looked like an AHLer.
Goat back to his disappearing act (since Blais hit....), Maybe split some time between him and Kravy.
you meant kravy AND a 1st? if it's tank straight up for kravy and some of tanks' salary retained that's should be a no brainer.Tank is the guy but it’s going to cost us Kravy or a 1st

Yeah, he was very noticeably one handing everything and he uncharacteristically soft on the boards and in battles. Very clearly not 100% so let's hope he can heal up with this long break. He looked much better tonight than the last couple of games. The 10 days off will be good for him.
My eye test is clearly broken. That's 2 games in a row where I though he's been good (except for not scoring, and the OT play), but he's near the bottom of those charts

You have to consider that misfits line is really hard to play against and certainly harder than scrubs like Howden's line. The Trocheck line looked very good, kid line was ok, and the Mika line struggled a little, think this is pretty close, imo.
You make it seem like the fans have a say in what the team does. The GM, coach, and players don't give a shit. You don't think 23 pages of complaints after getting 1 point instead of 2 against a very good Toronto team on the road is over the top? The complaining on this board is f***ing absurd. The Rangers are 16-4-3 since early December and in solid playoff position yet one would think they are bottom feeders from some of these idiotic comments after a loss. I'm convinced some actually believe they must win every game. It's like some have no clue what happens during an 82 game marathon NHL regular season. Why? You analyze your mistakes to improve, take the self criticism learn from the mistakes, find your weaknesses and get better. That's how it works. If you win that doesn't mean you don't have things to work on but usually your opponent made more mistakes than you so there's less to look at.
I don't get why people think criticism is a bad thing.
not sure about that, Cuylle really nailed him with like 4 full swings from his left hand.Just saw the fight. Looks like Kolesar got the better of Cullye, by a slight margin
I thought they were terrible again. My eye test is clearly broken. That's 2 games in a row where I though Mika's been good (except for not scoring, and the OT play), but he's near the bottom of those charts
