Lackluster effort. Lots of perimeter stuff that amounted to inflated shot totals. That’s about it. Management can’t seriously expect us to believe this team has a shot at anything more than a first round exit.

BTW that play with around 2:50 remaining where Mittelstadt went towards the end board and just poked at the puck with one hand and peeled off to avoid a hit is precisely why I have zero faith in him. Down one goal and he's okay with the turnover so he doesn't get hit. Has nothing to do with skating, cardio, systems, etc. Just straight up soft play.

Get him off this team.

I'm not going to rant, but it's the same shit another day. Poor effort against a bad team. It's the same shitty players making the same shitty mistakes. And it's the same shitty coaching staff who can't even remotely get the players playing at an effort level that is necessary in the NHL. It sucks but it looks like this is what we are getting this year.

Exactly some pretty egregious mistakes by CMac & Sakic (sorry if those think he’s not involved in these decisions). And a coach who can only coach one way with apparently only a very few players who can play that way.

Not much to say about THIS one. They tried, they failed. Not good enough

I don't think so. Only glimmer of hope is the TDL. But even that light is getting
weaker; there is only SO much they can do. And i don't think it will be enough

I don't know what kind of deal dehaan has on management but it's really hard to imagine Jacob Macdonald or Calle Rosen being much worse at this point. WTF are they doing with this guy - he's awful and has been the large majority of the season.

Sakic isn't super involved, he's not a micro manager. And I doubt CMac is running to him to seek his approval before he makes a move.

CMac is making the decisions, and they have been mostly poor.
