Five seconds before the goal, The Ref, let Arizona get away with a blatant hook. I mean, it wasn’t even close.

That beard on Crouse’s face doesn’t fool me. To me he’s still the dumb babyface who got fooled by Stewart.

What is happening???

It's 4-1, 5 minutes or so left, and ARI blatantly hooks MN player. Refs let it go, because "game management". ARI maintains possession in O zone because of said hook, and scores a few seconds later. Then they score again.

What should have happened is that an ARI player sitting in the box while we had a 4-1 lead.

Hate this with a passion.

On a positive note, liked seeing players shot at the net rather than overpass. Spurgeon's goal is a testament to the good things than can happen when you do that. Zucc dinged one off the iron from fairly long range, and Kap was shooting, too. Steel was overpassing, but besides that everyone seemed to be shooting.

We've got Reaves out there at the end LOL
I didn’t watch but saw he played 14:54 (which is the 3rd most for him since the 2019-2020 season) but just assumed it was a product of the 11-7 and Foligno having 19 PIMs but based on this it sounds like Dean has taking a liking to the worst analytical player in the NHL

It's because Reaves in on the Ek line which is naturally deployed in a goalie pull situation to protect the lead.

The real question is why is he on that line in the first place?

Reaves didn't make any obvious mistakes out there, but is Mikko Koivu at the end of his career after the Giordano knee slow.

Oh well. We might not win more hockey games, but we'll win more fights.
