Evason said he won't repeat the mistake of last year. This time he'll let both goalies play. Gus played almost 5 periods in game 1, maybe the coach will let him rest tonight.

No Gus found another gear Monday, flurey is missing gears. Id rather have a tired gus than crappie flopping all around net.

Any news about the lineup tonight? I need to know, and I need it right now!

I get the reasoning....but my fear is that MAF will give up a couple of softies in the 1st period and we won't be able to recover.
There is no recovering if Dallas gets a lead. This is playoffs. Forget tomorrow. The goal is to score tonight. Do not give them any momentum. Fluery has not put in anywhere close to a shift like last game.that was super human. .900 isn’t going to cut it when otter goes .930
Gus is the difference moving Wild up a weight class.

Unless Gus is exhausted which I understand

No reason to not put your foot on Dallas throat. Playing flower makes no sense. If you have that much faith in him, go to him in game 3 if we lose

There's thinking that Dumba didn't do anything wrong, and there's celebrating Pavelski being down and out. Let's please not do the latter.
A pic can tell more than a thousand words.

The point was not to celebrate Pavelski's injury, we also have banged up folks in the heat of the battle.

Lmfao , I finally decide to eat a little crow on Evason and the very next game he would make literally the dumbest decision in all of hockey history.

You’re gonna go into game two looking to put a series away on the road after your phenom goalie gave to the best performance of the playoffs and of the season as a whole and sit him. It’s a f***ing fireable offense and a person would have to be brain dead to make that decision.

Dear God. Please don't go full stupid Evason. Starting Flower will have the heart rates skyrocket all over Minnesota tonight. The guy is one of the most schizophrenic playoff goalies of all time. I'm not prepared to spend tonight with my face in my hands and my heart doing the jig everytime he sprawls around like a tweaker.Hopefully it's just idle speculation.

Well, I have a nap in but another two-overtime win would not be good for anyone. Get it done tonight Wild! I can't wait for this thing to start!

I can possibly see a scenario where Gus just seemed absolutely gassed from the other night and Dean maybe wants to give Fleury a chance to see what he has in the playoffs this year. That being said without knowing all of the circumstances, being around all the guys etc. that Dean is privy to, I say go with the hot goalie and let Gus play.

This is probably going to be a tough one. Go Wild!

Oddly enough, Robertson and The Stars don’t scare me as much without Pavelski. Just a bunch of kids now.

We need to weather the storm in the 1st, play hard but smart, I'm almost guessing an ugly very physical 1st period not much of scoring just settling scores. So, play smart and stay out of the box tonight fellas.

Every pic of Mojo the wild post he’s holding a couple of tins lol. What a guy

If you read the Stars board you'll soon find out how they trash talk Wild players and hope they get injured. Not very classy. But I guess Avs fans are even worse.

The Stars posters on this site have been among the worst for a long time, there are just very few of them. There is never any reason to visit their board, it is a cess pool and has been for over a decade.

On the Wild youtube channel, they showed a bunch of tracking tools that they use for heart rate and conditioning on every player. It is a major part of their practice scheduling. Apparently Gus' conditioning was deemed a concern at the start of the season. I wouldn't be surprised with either one starting, but I do know that Dean and the Wild are privy to much more information on his current physical status than we are.

I think ti would be smart to play fleury. Let Gus rest after playing almost two games in one night, in a game that is likely to go Dallas's way. He starts at home, rested, undefeated, with, hopefully, JEE back. If we are going to go on a long run, fleury will be needed anyway. Might as well get him in now.

If we play Gus now, and he loses, we will have a goalie who has lost his aura of invincibility. Let's stack the cards in Gus's favor by giving him the night off, and starting him in MN.

Avs fans were intolerable on this site after the '14 series. Quite a few of them developed a unhealthy obsession in regards to all things Wild. They would bring up the Wild all the time. Even when they weren't playing them. It stayed that way for many years after..

The Stars fans on here can be aggravating as well. God knows as a Sabres fan it was annoying dealing with all the Miro fanboys obsessed with putting down Dahlin.

That is interesting, I never knew about that. It is amazing the things they track on these players that we have no idea about.

You know Dallas is going to come out on fire in the first period. Being down one or tied after 20 should be a victory… then go to work from there.
Let’s do this!
