I think ti would be smart to play fleury. Let Gus rest after playing almost two games in one night, in a game that is likely to go Dallas's way. He starts at home, rested, undefeated, with, hopefully, JEE back. If we are going to go on a long run, fleury will be needed anyway. Might as well get him in now.

If we play Gus now, and he loses, we will have a goalie who has lost his aura of invincibility. Let's stack the cards in Gus's favor by giving him the night off, and starting him in MN.

Lets you see what you have in Fleury in what is just a nice to have game rather than waiting until it is a must win game.

Fleury looks poor and you can justify Gus the rest of the series.

In order to get to a must win game, you first need to lose multiple. You don't have to wait that long. Rude the hit goalie, if he gives up a game, then put flower in... well before it's must win still
 
So, had my pregame meal, and workout. 3 Hotdogs, with Kraut, spicy relish, pickles, and Mustard. Nice apple afterwards, and will have my coffee and peanut butter brookie between periods.
Inverted sit-ups, and Chi Kung done .... I am ready. Serene, powerful, with a slight aura of invincibility. Also, a pretty testy case of gas, but that sort of goes without saying.

I am thinking that it's an uphill battle tonight. We are healthy on the back end, but missing JEE and Hartman, and possibly having a hobbled Boldy and Kap will hurt us a lot.

Or hit the rude goalie…
Without Hartsy and Ek I don‘t expect them to win…unless some goalie miracle happens.
So, take MAF and save the hot goalie for the home games.

I guess Steel will center Kap & Zucc, should say he deserves it, had 2 points in game 1.
 
It seems as though the only playoff series wins we have had have all come after a long very hard fought series. You may say this is how it usually is for everyone, which would be true, however to win a series and not have to drag it out until the absolute end would be so beneficial. I say you try everything possible to win every game you can. No win is a sure thing. Don't give up a single one.
