He's been inconsistent; some very good games and some games I'm sure he'd like to forget about. But, since his return, 12 goals on 108 shots, which has been an improvement. If he can find that consistency, he'll be solid.
This was a total team loss and props to Sarnia for not quitting and getting the win.

This. I don't think you'll find a soul, including the coaches, who are happy with the loss. A point is a point but you want two, especially when you're up 5-2. Get back at it tonight and then deal with Saginaw on Sunday. There are four points up for grabs and 5of6 this weekend helps the standings.

As seen by everyone, that wasn't the effort needed to win a game in this league. Out play and dominate the play for the first half of the game but unfortunately this team thought they were going to cruze right into the 2 points and got the rug pulled out from under them. I'm sure the Sting players have a good memory and remember getting thumped by us the last two games against us. This young Sarnia team continued to grind it out, play there game and chip away at us and never gave up. The good teams know how to control the game and not lose their composure. I'm not talking run the score up, but more not cheating and doing to much, tighten up defensively and stick to the darn game plan. Joey needs a bounce back game the next time he gets in the net. The more he plays like this i think the easier it is to move on from him in the off season and roll Froggett and Windbiel but that's another days topic.

Bounce back game needed tonight, hope Froggett gets the nod. Need to build his confidence up as well and get him some more starts down the stretch especially if Joey isn't playing up to par consistently. Hope the players come out angry, time to lock it in here the last month or it could be an early playoff exit again, the time is now to play playoff style hockey and get these bad habits gone. Walter's and Staff have to drive it home. This team has exceeded expectations forsure this season but I think we've seen enough to know what team this spitfires squad is, it's just putting that team and effort together on a consistent basis. Greentree just like last year is the straw that stirs the drink on this team, brings it every night, and will do anything needed for this team. Wouldn't be stunned if he cracks the Kings Line up next year and Protas is almost a lock to be gone.

Need a win tonight,
Go Spits Go!!!

If anything, I hope this weekend kicks em in the arse.

What a disappointing two games. Both very winnable. I did notice Bowler in Flint, not sure how common it is to see GMs in opposing arenas post-deadline.

I’m not overly worried, but with how the first 120 minutes have gone this weekend, I’m not clearing my Sunday afternoon. Lol

I'm not thrilled about the loss at all but they've got Sunday to redeem themselves. They have a 15 point lead on the Spirt with 12 games left.... 17 points with 11 games sounds better than 13 with 11 games. Come in motivated and get the job done.

IMHO, they need to split up Greentree and Protas. With Greentree out of the lineup, Abraham scores a hat trick and Protas assists on all 3. Both Greentree and Protas make whomever they play with better. Split them up and maybe have 2 productive lines.

Well missed that one but apparently I'm not the only one.
Magic number is now 9 points with the Saginaw loss last night.
I have no idea what to expect today after the last couple of games?
IMHO I would be ok if they don't force Greentree back today. Let him get healthy.
And again won't be watching but might watch it later this week.
Big 4 point game but we will see.
Be safe.

Windsor wasn't ready to play.
Too many passengers.
Defense soft.
Defensive zone coverage terrible.
Bad habits r showing.

Not happy with the loss after coming back and taking the lead, both goalies have struggled this weekend after playing 5 good games between them, will be interesting to see how team responds at home vs Saginaw today, especially with Saggy losing to last place Guelph at home last night.
I would agree don't rush Greentree back into the lineup, if he can play fine if not so be it.
Spits tied with Kitchener and London for the lead in losses at home in regulation with 4.
No need to panic, clean things up,1st regulation loss last night in 7 straight games.

Despite the 5 goals, I thought Froggett looked good last night. 5th Goal is the only one I’d consider getting on him for. Aside from that one, the defense was atrocious. Goal 1: Thru Eichlers skates to a guy sitting at the top of the crease
Goal 2: Eichler crashes into Froggett, puck reaches the point, shot with a screen
Goal 3: Kennedy takes out his man, Woodall switches to get the same guy, Woodalls guy picks up the puck and slides it in from inside the blue paint
Goal 4: Christoforo hits the heel of Spellacy’s stick passing it from our corner, in front of our net, Aspinall all alone between the face off circles.
Goal 5: Odd angle shot. Maybe Froggett should’ve had it. But great odd angle shot by Kostov.

I don’t split up Greentree and Protas. Protas was getting swarmed all night without Greentree.

Abraham seems like he thrives on having that “first line” title. And as soon as he gets on the board, he keeps going. Noticed it several times this year. If he’s on the scoresheet early, he’s a different player. If he’s sitting down on the 2nd/3rd line, and doesn’t have much with him, it’s almost like he shuts himself off.

I’m rolling Greentree/Protas/Abraham going forward, because you’re getting more out of Morneau.

We still haven’t seen a lot of Costello, most the time I like what we’re getting from Gaymes. But I wouldn’t play either of them
Over Lemieux.

Might be a bit tough for the boys to get ramped up heavy for a couple of these games. They are locked into the playoffs and these opposing teams are fighting to get in. However, it is important that we start playing playoff hockey now. A good spanking now and again builds a bit of character and teaches some great lessons. We have coasted for a couple games , now it is time to tighten up. Let`s not forget this is the same group of boys who have surprised everyone in the hockey world and that was not by accident. We have a great squad, it`s time to shine boys !!!

Speaking of Spellacy tough game hor him, he was -4 last night. Not a good look for a player I deem should be our best defensive forward since scoring does not come easy for him. Aka "Bob Gainey style" I'd like to see him play with Protas and Greentree a couple of games to see if linemates can spark some offense and confidence for the playoffs. Not catching London and liklely not caught by Saggy so we have games to heal up injured and try some things to spark some interest closing out the regular season

Spellacy only plays hard parts of each game. He will not make the NHL playing part time! He should pay attention to Greentree and Protas,as there still is tons of development left for him. (i.e. puck handling weak)

Thinking out loud here but for the Coach of the Year finalists I’d have to assume it would be Williamson(Bar), Walters(Wsr) and Mann(Kgn)

Probably the edge to Walters taking over the team that finished last in the west and 2nd last in the league last year (next to Niagara) with just 44pts. 2nd in west right now(3rd in points with 81) in only 56 games so far. Prob hits 90+ points this season and more than doubles their previous year’s point total
