Hey we can score goals. Not a problem. We just can't defend sh@#. It's funny because of all the talk of missing Fiala, having him in a Wild sweater tonight wouldn't have made a damn difference unless he can play defense or goal. Losing him doesn't appear to be our biggest problem.
Question is, what are they going to do about it? They weren't happy after Game 1, and yet they started worse tonight.

BSN had us at 10 "chances" allowed, for what it's worth. Probably shouldn't be the recipe to give up 7 goals.

Fix a huge goalie problem, Fleury is cooked. Buy him out and call up Wallstedt.
And...fire both Guerin and Evason.
The coaches have to show up, because Evason preached about accountability this year INCLUDING for the coaches.

1. No more buyouts. We have enough dead cap as it is.
2. The last thing you do is bring Wallstedt up and destroy his confidence and progress with the shit show in front of him. He needs at least a year in Iowa. Never rush a goalie.
3. The goaltending is only half of our problems.
We're resting our 4th line for the postseason.

Well, we now know Gus will only allow about 4-5 goals against per game. I figure you have to give Evason about 40% of the season to figure it out, hence the 60% estimation.

This is a matter of emergency. Has to be fixed very soon, or we could be done this season by December.
Two games in isn't a matter of emergency. And it's not a reason to mess up the future by harming the progress of a goalie prospect who has the potential to be a star and the backbone of the franchise.
