When he was drafted I actually called my friend who lives in Kensington and yelled at him: "YOUR TEAM AND MANAGEMENT IS TRASH, B!". Great start for UPK this year. He might just prove me wrong.

I didn't realize how young Wolves team is, 16 x either 2000,2001,2002 born players,
7 x 1999 born players, only 2 over agers.

Several actually really good, top end / highly touted prospects;
1999 born Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, 2001 born Blake Murray, 2001 born Liam Ross, 2002 born Quinton Byfield,
2002 born Jack Thompson and maybe even (not highly touted) Anthony Tabak, late 2001 born (December),
this kid Left Winger is huge; 6 foot 5

They have sucked for so long, result; they have gotten good prospect from drafts?.

Has faced avg 30+ shots a night, sv% .922, 2.5 GAA in 11 games this season, his 7-3-1-0 record is one of the best in the OHL.
His counter part in 6 games: .860 sv%, with almost 4.0 GAA with 2-3-0-0 record, has faced avg of 27 shots a night.

Sudbury is still quite a bad team, but Luukkonen has just been lights out this season for them.

Even he can't do miracles, steals a point however for Sudbury, SOL with 40 saves, 1 goal against vs London Knights.
Ukko-Pekka has faced 150+ saves in his past 4 games, avg almost 40 per night...with sweet 2.25 gaa while doing so.

Hell of a job to be a Sudbury Wolves goalie and what incredible season has Ukko-Pekka had so far.

This guy just really seems to be putting it together this year.

Can we say the move to junior was a good one for his development?

Also, is he eligible for another year in junior? Or will he be in the AHL?

67's wanted to play Fortnite, Luukkonen didn't want to play that, Luukkonen and the Wolves gets OTW,
Luukkonen gets a secondary assist in the OT.

This time, Ukko-Pekka didn't have to face ton of shots, only 26 :) .

Improves his record to 11-3-1-1, had a super easy game tonight,
at least what comes to facing shots, only 21,let only one goal past him though.
His team won the shot count 42 to 21 against North Bay Battalion, super impressive 7-1 road win for them.

11-3-1-1 | 2.34 GAA | .927 SV%

After humiliating loss in his last start (got pulled in third) and letting craptastic of 12 goals in his last 2 games
Ukko-Pekka and the Wolves return to form, 1.86 gaa, almost .920 sv% and a W from the game against Saginaw Spirit.

That just shows how good UPL is and that Wolves is still quite bad of a team.

Wins, wins, wins for Luukkonen lately. 14-5-1-1 record while facing avg of 30 shots a game this season, with .920 sv%
-all that as a Sudbury Wolves starting goalie, hell of a thing.
