AMERICAN HERO
He was mediocre in the gold medal game. 2 bad goals and outplayed by Rimpinen. If the Finns didn't fan or miss the net on a lot of their scoring chances things would likely be different.AMERICAN HERO
Or, the USA was completely dominant the last 60% of the game, and Finland was lucky to even get to overtime. He was mediocre in the gold medal game. 2 bad goals and outplayed by Rimpinen. If the Finns didn't fan or miss the net on a lot of their scoring chances things would likely be different.

Dude is in anything wings related and trolling it. Good decision.OKAY BLOCKED GOODBYE
Cool, you can have a "mediocre" game when you have a resume like his and you're also still good enough to win gold.He was mediocre in the gold medal game. 2 bad goals and outplayed by Rimpinen. I don’t think Draper does too much goalie scouting. Hard to give him credit here. NA skater scouting is still bottom tier under Yzerman. This can't be possible. I've heard Detroit's drafting outside the 1st round is terrible...

It’s crazy how Draper is director of amateur scouting yet we only give him credit for late round NA picks
There was a report a while ago that Draper was the one pounding the table for Raymond at the draft and a lot of wings scouts actually wanted Perfetti. But Draper only gets credited with the picks that don't work out while Hakan Andersson gets credit for RaymondIt’s crazy how Draper is director of amateur scouting yet we only give him credit for late round NA picks
we have a good team and an incredible prospect pool. at this point i don't care who gets credit for whatThere was a report a while ago that Draper was the one pounding the table for Raymond at the draft and a lot of wings scouts actually wanted Perfetti. We give Hakan, our chief European scout, credit for picks he gets to make. We give Draper credit for all picks Hakan doesn’t make, it’s pretty straightforward. Hakan has earned his status. Draper drafted his son who has zero business being drafted. A disgusted form of nepotism. Shameful really. Could’ve potentially found the next Zetterberg or Datsyuk but we drafted a guy who can barely dress in the NCAA. It’s upsetting that management allowed it.It’s crazy how Draper is director of amateur scouting yet we only give him credit for late round NA picks
It’s very easy for someone like Draper to leak a pro-Draper take to the press. That’s the issue with access journalism, if you’re ever critical of an org they can just shut you out, so the media has to play ball and be nice and frankly it’s disgusting and everything journalism should be standing against. There was a report a while ago that Draper was the one pounding the table for Raymond at the draft and a lot of wings scouts actually wanted Perfetti. Yup, that's the problem. The media is owned by Big Draper. It’s very easy for someone like Draper to leak a pro-Draper take to the press.
