Another atrocious outing to start to his North American career with 29 saves on 30 shots.

From the Gulls website:

He’s just chill in the net,” head coach Kevin Dineen explained. “He makes some things look easy. They only had one power play but there were a couple tough scrambles as the game was winding down. That’s what I really liked, in those key areas where they were really pushing to try to scrape something together there, he had a really high compete level and had to work really hard to get on top of the puck. Very solid effort...

He might be Ducks version of Cal Petersen. He was peppered all night. He didn't let any bad goals against the Condors (Condors Rodrigue let 2+ bad goals against the Gulls over the 2 games - which is par for the course since the Oilers can't draft and develop goalies)

Some of the general media have been overlooking him since the draft.
Now Zegras and Drysdale (to some extent also Perreault) debuts have been taking the spotlight but man, if you want to see a some potential star goalies, take at least a couple of minutes to look at Dostal's resume so far.
North American ice have not been an issue so far. That being said, I hope the Gulls trim the SA down

Will be interesting how they handle him. This season AHL, next backup to Gibby. But Gibby is signed quite some time.
Yeah I think next year he can start to split some time with Gibby. Should be very interesting to see how both compete it out if all keeps going well.

He continues to disappoint.
His size is really holding him back in the AHL the same way it was holding him back in Liiga.

Dostal has played 12 games in 2020-2021 between Liiga and the AHL and has lost only one game between the two leagues and have an above .094 save percentage.

What part of that is "disappointing"?

It's a running joke on the Ducks board. He has never gotten much recognition as a top goalie prospect, even though he's dominated ever since we drafted him. So anytime he plays, it's never good enough.
