I think you are underthinking this if you rely on smart voters voting for a major player award. Especially when we are comparing an offensive phenom playing in Montreal against a 24-year-old goalie (at the time of the voting) playing in Calgary.You seem like you're overthinking this. There's no better goalie guy than Kevin Woodley. He thinks Wolf is a top 5 starter right now. He's absolutely winning games for his team. Hutson doesn't contribute to wins. His defensive work is absurdly bad. We're talking early Evan Bouchard being better defensively. Celebrini is already driving play. Smart voters are voting Wolf or Celebrini not all gas no brakes players.
Your take on Hutson, someone who is playing 23-27 minutes per night for the team that shot up the standings once he started playing a major role, is also absurdly bad but that's outside of the scope of this thread.
