I think we get crushed by Detroit but I don’t care (assuming no bad injuries of course). Making the playoffs was so huge, winning a game is well above expectations.

I have absolutely no idea what role or influence Peters had on the Niners staff in 2017 when they hired Shanahan as HC fresh off the Falcons debacle, he was a low level guy then . I remember the guffawing at promoting anyone involved in that choke job.

Whatever it was, I guess he learned not to worry about such things, because he promptly made the other and more prominent half of that choke job his HC.

Hard to argue with any of either decisions so far.

My one negative takeaway from this game is they really need to add legit kicker to their to-do list this offseason. That was not a long kick attempt. I know he hit the long one earlier but yikes.

They need to replace brob ive said it once ill say it again and he did f*** all this game. A competent running game would really help take some of the load off JD's shoulders

Agree. Brian Robinson hasn't been good ever since that 2 fumble game. He doesn't make anyone miss and he isn't breaking tackles like he was. Rodriguez out-played him a few weeks back. BROB shouldn't be getting this many touches or snaps at this point.

The Oline is banged up and kinda sucks.

Plus they’ve been facing some good run D the last few weeks.

It might actually be slightly easier to run on Detroit. If it matters. Gibbs and Montgomery are going to spit roast them.
