Break it all apart! Tear it all down...we didn't win hard enough, should've been 10-0 such an underwhelming performance. The worst team in the history of leafs. Campbell still looks shaky and is just lucky, he can't keep this up when the team is playing like this. It's been 10 games out of 82 I know enough that defines enough of the season. Can't even compete properly.

Alright well, that's out of my system, this post-game thread has very few posts and I wonder why...For real these boards are sometimes unbearable and dude we've been through some shitty ass times during the lows of the leafs so to read some of these things are just tiring and surprising as if they forgot some of our history. However refreshing when we see good posts and logical ones.

Lost on Proline.

Ah, yes that's why I never bet on my own team since that incident 2 decades ago (everything went right for me accept the Leafs game I was watching with someone who invited me to a Leafs party, I accidentally picked Ottawa to win by 3 but meant to pick the Leafs, went nuts when the Sens scored an empty netter to win me $300 on a $5 bet. The money was cool, I was never invited back to that party again, and have never bet on my team since just incase I check the wrong box!)

Anyone else think that these guys look like they belong in a a Quentin Tarantino movie?

haha. I'm gonna grow me some Marner hockey hair. I don't see the point in getting a clean barber's cut with winter coming up. Keep the neck warm!

Question:

What happened to Dermott tonight. Did he have to go to the locker room to get stitched up?
Cut and pasted this from MLHS report on Keefe's post game comments:

On Travis Dermott’s status after leaving the game for a stretch:
He blocked a shot there. He felt uncomfortable coming back for the second. He went for a picture. I haven’t heard a word since, but he came back to the bench. I’d imagine the picture was negative in terms of fractures or anything like that. It seemed like he was okay the rest of the game.
IN terms of where it goes from here, we will find out tomorrow, but it is positive that he finished the game, of course.

Great win. This team should be producing these types of wins consistently throughout the season at this point in their build. That is the only way they will carry it forward into the playoffs when it really matters and not have to constantly dig themselves out of holes. Now let's see this kind of effort against Tampa start to finish, even if its a loss.

Thank god. I was worried he got benched for a simple coverage mistake. It seemed excessive at the time but it makes perfect sense now that it was equipment/injury related.

The puck movement and skill expression seems to be coming back.

Absolutely fantastic game. Could easily have been 8-0

They have played 3 AHL teams this season and this is the first time they looked like an NHL team against them. As they are supposed to. Easy night for Campbell and the top players going against people who shouldn’t be in the nhl. Real tests come next and then we’ll know how the team is looking. Hoping they rise to the challenge.
