“@Aportzline: Hearing Dave Maetzold, previously the pre- and post-game #CBJ studio host, will replace Natalie Taylor as FSO reporter.”

Good for Dave. I think he'll do a great job.

“@Aportzline: #CBJ now looking for a studio analyst to work with Dan Kamal for pre- and post-game shows. Andrew Cassels tried out for the spot last summer”

He better be willing to wear 80's hairstyles and gobs of makeup. He's got big pumps to fill. :sarcasm:

What local times did CBJ usually played their games last season? and will there be any chances now after going to east division?

Game start times would vary between 7:30pm (Eastern Time Zone), 8:30pm (Central), 9:00pm or 9:30pm (Mountain), and 10:00pm or 10:30pm (Pacific). West coast games wouldn't end until 1:00am or later depending on overtime. Sucked.

Changes at Fox

As was earlier announced, Dave Metzold replaces Natalie Taylor as rinkside reporter, here's his replacement (from the Fox Sports website):

"As Maetzold shifts roles to in-game reporter, the network welcomes Brian Giesenschlag as the new host of Blue Jackets Live and Blue Jackets Slap Shots. Viewers will recognize Giesenschlag as FOX Sports Ohio’s feature reporter for the Cincinnati Reds. Most recently, he was also the Sports Director for WXIX Channel 19 in Cincinnati."

Welcome to Mr. Giesenschlag. New drinking game perhaps? We can get smashed even before the game starts!

Moving down to Lexington KY for grad school finally.

Looking for big help from fellow KY Jackets fans. I am getting Time Warner Cable. I understand most of the Jackets games are on an alternate channel.

Which channel will they be on? Any cable package suggestions?

Pens fan coming in peace. Just want you guys to know you're not alone in the realm of ****** TV productions. Root Sports Pittsburgh (formerly Fox Sports Pittsburgh) is one long-running, continuous joke from October thru April, punctuated by a few decently called games and commentaries. It's "freshman year of college at the Journalism Department" bad sometimes. There are some funny moments (usually unintentionally funny) with Bob Errey, former-player-turned-off-the-wall-color-commentator but mostly it's painful. Worse than Root is Trib Media, the Penguins' PR Division local sports reporters. We'll trade you Steigerwald (our PBP guy) and Rob Rossi (Abuser of Sports Reporting Standards) for the worst announcer you have and a Tim Horton's Gift Card, no questions asked.

PS - welcome to the division. The sooner you learn to hate Philadelphia, the more you'll love it.

In that case, enjoy Bob Hunter!

I don't think I can hate Philadelphia. They gave us Bob and took Mason off our hands, that alone is deserving of some kind of medal. Also they have Voracek who was one of my favorites when he was here. The ongoing goalie circus in Philly is too entertaining to hate them. I don't even blame them for "He who shall not be named," we wanted to get rid of his sorry ass too.
