David Perron vient d'être échangé aux Oilers d'Edmonton. Doug Armstrong vient tout juste de lui apprendre la nouvelle.

With the Perron trade, the Oilers must have the softest group of forwards in the league.

Although on Oilers Now radio show, they were speculating that MacT may offersheet Kyle Clifford at 3m per for multiple years. Give up a 2nd in the process.

I am pretty sure they have Mike Brown running around over there. Their youngsters appear soft but not so much all their vets. RNH, Hall, Hemsky, MP, Eberle, Gagner are all soft or smallish. Horcoff, Brown, Yakupov, etc are physically a stronger or tougher.

I think they traded Gagner. Just a feeling I get.

And yes, absolutely. They missed out on Clarkson.

what do you think of an offersheet for Kyle Clifford? I was reading over on the Oilers board that they were considering to offer him 12m over 4 years.

Horcoff is gone. They brought in Gordon who is a bit gritty.

That's a lot of money, I would rather try and trade for him honestly. But I would love it. Exactly the type of player I love for the bottom-6 and he is still young enough to round out his offensive game.

mike brown is a 4th line pest. Horcoff is not on the team anymore. They added Boyd Gordon, who may be their only physical player along with Yakupov and Hall in that lineup.

agreed, but Lombardi won't deal with divisional rivals IMO.

Magnus Paajarvi and a 2014 2nd going to St. Louis for Perron

Wow that's a great deal for the Oilers. Perron is much better than Paajarvi. It's a deal I wish the Rangers would've explored with Kreider before they decided to keep Richards.

is it true Craig MacTavish is going to offersheet Kyle Clifford for 3 mill? If so that's a lot of money.....wow.

Maybe he'll deal with the Rangers. We got Avery once

can't see where he will fit. Normally I'm against adding these type of players, but I think Clifford has top 6 upside in him at some point playing with skilled players.
