GDT: Free Agent Friend-Z Part III - Moore please?

Hope Zuccarello is back, Should only get better. I could see around 50 points this upcoming season. Was 2nd on the team in scoring this playoff with seven points in twelve games.
 
hmmmm I hear Brad Marchand might be on the trade block..... any interest?
 
In 2007,the Rangers traded Matt Cullen to Carolina to free up space after they signing Drury and Gomez. The Rangers aren't keeping all of these players.
 
Boyle, Powe, and Asham all shipped out, perhaps? I'll be quite annoyed if Boyle is kept and Zuke is sent packing back to Europe.
 
The more I think about it the more I really don't wanna send Boyle packing. Lockerroom leader and perfect fourth line player, just a tad overpaid. I still do wish we could get just one player that could drop the gloves (no goons though, please), I still like the idea of trading for Cody McLeod.

Not to mention here he could very well be the 2nd line RW. Callahan gets pushed to 3rd line RW. It is not a demotion for Callahan, it is probably what AV prefers given the system he likes to play. Having Callahan get pushed down to be part of that "shut down" line that can also provide offense is perfect for AV's system.

I can't see how Jagr will still be getting his usual 18-20 MPG+ when there are two players who'll play just as much on ES and are fixtures on the top PP unit (Nash and Callahan). Management is building around those two already. It seems more like a luxury than a dire need at LW. AKA just doesn't make sense, especially with Zuccarello signing for cheap.

Jagr is my favorite player of all time. His ability to shield the puck with his butt made for some very entertaining shifts and beautiful goals. But that being said, he'll go where the money is and what incentive does he have of joining the Rangers? I suspect a team like Montreal will offer him 4mil for one season and he'll sign that and there is no wrong with making money which is really the ultimate goal in every profession. There is just no way he'll fit into the roster with Richards on the cap.

And I never said Pouliot was of the caliber that Prospal is. You can put words in my mouth all you want. All I said is at this point in time, Hagelin-Kreider-Pouliot as our top 3 LW (for the time being until the deadline) makes more sense than Prospal on that side. Pouliot is only 26 years old. Of course he hasn't put up the seasons Prospal has, he hasn't been in the NHL that long. It is quite honestly a stupid comparison on your part.

Pouliot and Kreider are borderline NHL players and haven't proven to even be 3rd line players in this league. Prospal makes sense for this team because he would instantly become the team's best LWer when the depth their is really shady at best.
