It's overpay season baby! What? Holy overpay.
It would cost more than that I believe. Upgrading Krebs into a very good young center would cost more than a 2nd and Rosen I think…but who knowsWhat? Holy overpay.
Who is making fun of anyone…?Nashville

That's why I qualified it as they would likely have huge roster issues if they are that far under the cap.I mean, it depends. I’ll judge the win now on the players aquired rather than salary. You’re right, they are probably one and the same. But theoretically (lol) he could get a top 6 legit scorer still in the last year of a good contract or something
He likes Brannstrom as the 3rd pairing RHD and pushing Clifton to the 7th D spot.First and last one I’m fine with. Iffy on Brannstrom, but would be fine as a #7. Otherwise gimme Roy

I doubt the Sabres do that. But, that is Anthony's thought process.
If we start the season like this, Adams is officially done. Not gonna lie, it will be extremely frustrating if they enter the season $8-10M under the cap, and with huge issues on the roster, in what Adams and Lindy both talked about being an off season where the club was in "Win Now mode".
Especially if they enter the season once again as one of the youngest and least experienced rosters in the NHL.
Perhaps he envisions Jokiharju as the 3rd pairing guy, then. Regardless, he has talked about Brannstrom pushing Clifton to the 7th D spot.I thought Brannstrom is a left shot D
When Kevyn tries to sign Ryan Lomberg but Pegula vetos it.
Unofficially done haha. It’ll take a year to fire him.If we start the season like this, Adams is officially done.
The start of Adams down fall was last summer...
You came off a season where your team was a point away from making the playoffs.
Players around the league were rumored to be taking Buffalo off there no trade list and instead of adding talent and striking while the iron was hot, you brought practically the same team back and it completely backfired.
Now were back to being a destination no player wants to come to.
I care about where they are in relation to the cap. If they don’t use the cap space the one year buying Skinner out creates meaningful cap space, then they created a long term liability for nothing.I really don’t care where they are in relation to the cap. I’m more concerned with the team the do or don’t build.

Absolutely. If we start the season like this, Adams is officially done.

Every time I type it, it feels unnaturalI still can’t believe that he spells his name with a y.

I'm looking forward to James Duthie's antics once again.TSN feed fired up.
He and Dahlin were great together at the U20's in consecutive years. He's been good for the Sens down their lineup since Smith got out of the way. I'd love that as a replacement for Bryson.
