I'm seeing some of the numbers being thrown around on the trade board and am shocked. 6m for Clarktard? I hope Gorton has Sather strapped to his wheelchair somewhere. If we sign Clowe for like 6 yrs 5m+ I will rage. The FA market this year is out of control. So much for the Cap keeping salaries under control. It's worse than ever.

Dreger on a roll. Scuderi for that long is an awful deal. Same for Clowe.

The point isn't to get an upgrade. We have a lot of LH dmen. Franson is RH. Even if it's a totally lateral move in terms of talent/ability, it's still a win for us IMO because it balances out our pairings and gives us a RH shot on the point.
