The Post has learned the Rangers have held discussions with fourth-line, checking-oriented center Dominic Moore, who is pondering a return to the league after sitting out last season after the death of his wife, Katie, who lost her two-year fight against a rare form of liver cancer on Jan. 7.

A source has confirmed Moore, who will turn 33 next month, had spoken extensively with the Rangers last year before the lockout and likely would have signed with the club if his wife’s medical condition had allowed.

@NYDNRangers: Expect @RMcDonagh27 to re-sign next day or two. It will benefit #NYR to avoid outside offer sheet for top-pair D-man http://t.co/D7t3RaZruQ

Unfortunately, I think that is merely speculation by Pat Leonard rather than a source saying it will occur. The actual article reads like he is saying that's what the Rangers should do, so it will happen. I don't share the same confidence.

The article states:

Expect the Rangers to re-sign defenseman Ryan McDonagh in the next day or two, since as of noon Friday other NHL teams are able to submit offer sheets for unsigned restricted free agents.

Regarding Stepan, it adds:

Stepan wants to remain in New York, though, and the Rangers intend to keep him. They will pay Stepan, last season’s top Rangers center, more than the average, as well, and should do it soon to keep him off the offer sheet market, also.

Hopefully they're both locked up soon, but I don't think that Leonard has an actual source saying it will happen.

Unless something dramatic happened in the last 18hrs, or will happen in next 30-60 mins, I fully expect Nathan Horton to sign with Columbus.
