Cirelli at that price is okay. I wouldn't say great. Young though and room to grow. Most points ever is 44. If he continues at that trend then that's not a great contract even with the cap going up in a couple years. Depends how he progresses.

Serg contract is shit.

Tampa just signed me for 8 years 2M per year deal.

Not a discount but not an overpay when you look at the three together. Cermak is a bit of a discount 1M, cirelli is fair, and Sergechev about 2M too much

Tampa has won multiple cups with this group of people. Not to mention another final appearence this past season. And they're still all relatively young.

I'm not surprised to see these contracts. They're rewarding the team.

You don't pay a #6 2.75 mill though.

If you are a bottom pairing guy who can't bring PK value and can maybe only play a dozen minutes, you are making closer to league minimum.

2.75 mill as a pure defensive guy, you can't be a #6 who doesn't PK.

He went to the Sabres who have cap room for days. If they want to be closer to the high end of the 2-2.999 range that's their problem. Probably help them stay closer to cap floor instead of having to make trades instead.


Boosh cap hit is no issue in Buffalo and is only as long as prime years remaining 28 and 29 years old. Radim Simek 2.25 mil is a good comparable. Boosh will not be touching that kind of money in his 30's.
