I really liked Brannstrom's play in 2020-2021. I think he took a step back this past year in comparison to 20-21. I'm not ready to write him off quite yet. I think this next year will dictate what exactly he is.

Cautiously optimistic for once. 2 hard working, veteran goalies that will not create any drama (we assume). Both over .900 last year, which is something we've really looked for lately.

Forward lines are done for the most part:

Tkatchuk - Norris - Batherson
Debrincat - Stutzle - Giroux
Formenton - Pinto - Jospeph

D is a HUGE concern

Chabot - Zub
Sanderson - XXXX
Holden - Hamonic
Brannstrom

Zaitsev should be moved hopefully

Forsberg
Talbot

I hope they move Zaitsev regardless. I hope DJ isn't in his corner saying they'd be ok with keeping him.

It would likely be a Norris, Zub, or other re-signing.

If it was a trade, they'd call it a trade.

If it was a dump, no one would call it good news, they'd massage it to avoid offending the dumped player

Could be some weird hiring news or something.

Could also be another UFA.

Mendes is better tuned into the pulse of the fanbase/market more than anyone in the history of this market. If he's saying it's good, it'll be a slam dunk.

I am stunned the Sens havent offered him a Senior Comms job of some kind. What a lay up.
