Shit, I would’ve been livid if they gave Laf that contract last offseason and I was a Laf believer. You would have been livid if they gave Laf that contract last offseason.

Still have the same goalies, so nothing has changed for them.Canes crushed it letting their d go, and getting those two deals, unreal on Walker.
What strategythat Walker deal is pretty good
I really don’t have anything to say about the strategy here
More like he's getting 5M because some team needed to get to the salary floor. Kudos to him.Wennberg is getting 5M for a Game 3 OT goal
Pretty obvious NYR forecasts Igor , Laf , Miller resigns and can’t add more money to next year
Seems like they finally implemented some bot detection, hopefully the site loads faster without all the scripts refreshing pages constantly.HF Boards just verified that I am a human! Mazel Tov!
They are scumbags for letting those guys back into the league. Neither of them shouldThe league trying to slide this news out on the wildest day of the year, figuring it’ll go unnoticed. So greasy
It’s very clear at this point that Drury doesn’t care about that far out (and rightly so) If he doesn’t win in the next 3 years, he probably doesn’t have a job anywayIf Drury is trying to create a team that competes for the next decade, not just the nest 2 years, we should probably stop trading away half of our draft selections from rounds 2-4 rather than just limit long term contracts for veteran players
This is why I suggested buying out Trouba last night if they didn't have a certain deal in place. A buy out is the least appealing of the three options (trade, waivers, buy out) but it was the only thing that we could control, that would give us any certainty coming into today.
With that said I don't think we were giving term to anyone today. Not with big dollars attached, anyway. I think the team is operating with an eye towards next off-season.
