Bonino and wheeler are good signings as theyre effectively 1 year bridges to when guys like othmann, bedard, mcconnell barker, sykora, edstrom are ready. Those guys could all use some time in hartford.

Just to put my money where my mouth is given how against our signings I have been, here are some players that have already signed for sub $900k that I would have preferred:

Glendening
Nieto
Caggiula
Connor Brown
Sprong
Sprong got 2M
Brown was always signing with Edmonton + ton of bonuses.

Sanderson is 20 years old and already better than Kandre Miller.
Stats say different. Both are good skaters, Sanderson probably better, but up until now it looks like KAM's offensive upside is better. KAM=23 yrs, JS=21in one week. Two years difference.

Everyone got 1 yr but why was Nash able to get 2 outta Drury?

Ok Kandre in year 3 was better than Sanderson in his rookie year. Compare their rookie years offensively. Their skating is anout equal and Sanderson blows him away in every other aspect of the game.

Sanderson is a far far far superior player to Kandre Miller.

In fairness guys, Drury and his team have been VERY busy. Look at the number of players they have signed. I wouldn’t say he’s been sitting on his hands. It’s clear he had a plan going in to today

Well at this point no cuylle on the team. Would have liked some fresh young legs. A lot of mercenaries brought in. Hopefully it works out.

I think Nash and Belzile got 2 years to build a foundation in Hartford. Same with Blidh.

Eh I don’t think that’s necessarily true.

Everyone who signed today can be waived at no consequence so if Cuylle balls out, he’ll probably make it. Pretty clear that Drury wanted to accumulate enough passable depth so that there are layers between the roster and the leshitshow types.

Are people saying he’s sitting on his hands? He’s signed like 7 guys in 3 hours.
