I would rather than them fill out their role players with cheap vets and take their chances than to overpay for others.

These are great depth signings who can also provide leadership in the AHL if they dont make the opening night roster. These are players the Rangers trade 3rd-5th rounders for at the deadline.

Also pushes leschyshyn down the depth charts.
