Wheeler for under $1M this season with potentially some bonuses carrying over to next year when Corey Perry got $4M is something. If Wheels can add some semblance of what Perry brought to Tampa the last few years we’ll have ourselves a nice little bargain.

Nash spent all last season in the AHL so you wonder if he's a two way veteran callup for the 4th line in case of injuries.

Do we know for sure that Wheeler was bad in the locker room? I would think the front office would talk to Trouba about him and if the captain doesn't agree with the move, then he wouldn't have been brought in....

At this point focus on Laf and Miller and look for any remaining carcasses in Late August for a PTO or 2 for preseason so Panarin can stay out of shape (I mean healthy).

That stuff is so overblown sometimes. I don't see any problems with guys like Kreider, Trouba, Mika in the room.
I was on the "i dont want wheeler" because of the locker room reports, and his own admission on how bad he was towards laine.
But if trouba, who by all accounts has been an awesome captain, didnt ensure we didnt get him, then I'm fine with him.
