the Bay Area is massive, and affluent (less Oakland which has deteriorated in the last 50 years). Silicon Valley is still humming, tourism, Industry in general is still good. It's incredible to realize that hockey is doing so poorly.

I did not expect it to be a top 5. It can never be in California or any of the non North-east US markets, but this low.

Well that would be odd... how do you punish franchises for something a player did at an event that wasn't affiliated with the team? Unless the franchise tried to cover it up which I have no idea how they would even do given again, the franchise wasn't affiliated with the event.

Keep in mind the suspensions could go beyond just who is charged. Players even peripherally involved could be suspended under the personal conduct policy.

Well we had already lost Formenton for a year and I don't think anyone thought he would play for us again, let alone in the NHL. A Batherson suspension would be quite surprising given the team went to bat for him last season and it ended with an "A" on his jersey, while Formenton was tossed into the sun.
