Based on the insider trading segment. I am starting to sense that this dude is coming back on a 1 year deal.
do you not consider them a tad soft, a tad small?New Jersey can win a cup pretty soon with all that talent.
That makes sense for sure. Can’t imagine there is much market for him.Based on the insider trading segment. I am starting to sense that this dude is coming back on a 1 year deal.
We were saved from Dzingel by Dzingel.Someone posted on Twitter that the DeBrincat situation reminded them of the Dzingle one. In the sense that both players were offered lucrative contracts to stay in Ottawa, their agents advised against accepting the deal in favour of free agency and in free agency they got less than what they were originally offered by Ottawa - and substantially so at that.
Not sure Dzingel and DBC are on even ground at the battlefield of UFA.Someone posted on Twitter that the DeBrincat situation reminded them of the Dzingle one. In the sense that both players were offered lucrative contracts to stay in Ottawa, their agents advised against accepting the deal in favour of free agency and in free agency they got less than what they were originally offered by Ottawa - and substantially so at that.
same thing in Winnipeg . These franchises should be tryna blow it up.And Murray Edwards won’t authorize a rebuild.
Sounds like they're losing miles wood too.do you not consider them a tad soft, a tad small?
We should get Patrick Kane to play with DBC!
leaving them with 3 L, all shorter than 6 foot...OHH, the poundingSounds like they're losing miles wood too.
New Jersey can win a cup pretty soon with all that talent.
they can have a 100 lottery wins.I still can't believe how lucky they got with two lottery wins despite never truly being in the basement.
It’s a pipe dream but that would be ideal if debrincat is back on a 1 year dealWe should get Patrick Kane to play with DBC!
The players are authorizing it by asking out though. And Murray Edwards won’t authorize a rebuild.
Tough to really do anything with the rest of the roster in that case.Based on the insider trading segment. I am starting to sense that this dude is coming back on a 1 year deal.
Getting nemec and Hughes though. They're gonna be even better& Graves
Take what he can get .. a solid 3rd line roster player and a 2nd if that's all it is... and get on with it.Tough to really do anything with the rest of the roster in that case.
If you bring DeBrincat back at 8M then sign Pinto [~2.5], Brannstrom [~1.5], Sokolov [.9], JBD [.9] that leaves you about 2M in cap space. Probably can't even add a goalie in that case, and you're really counting on Ridly Greig being ready to contribute a lot. Parker Kelly still on the roster too.
Not sure I like that much.
That makes sense for sure. Can’t imagine there is much market for him.
Regardless of giving a list, I’d be surprised if DBC will sign with more than 1-2 teams, if at all. Then those teams would need to actually want to meet Ottawa’s needs, which I can’t imagine happening with the position they’ve put themselves in.
He wants to get to UFA at a much higher price point due to a 4-5 mill cap increase. If the Sens want to trade him for a 3 month playoff run, fine by him I’m sure. If not, he’ll ride into the sunset of 2024 UFA with a 7 year, 60 million dollar deal.
Wouldn't that be something if PD gets a pick in the low teens & drafts Mathew Wood RW & they sign his brother Miles Wood LW this off season. It could be an opportunity right now for some team to do just that & have the two brothers play together in future & what's really interesting is that one plays RW & the other plays LW & we just happen to have a big 6'3" centre looking for two good wingers to play with. Wood - Pinto - Wood.Sounds like they're losing miles wood too.
Lol PD baby!Huh. Debrincat's agent represents Connor Brown and Logan Brown...
