I still think our best bet is grabbing Boeser out of Van if the price is right. Shouldn't cost as much as McTavish who for some reason is seeing a bidding war, and has recently scored as much as people probably think McTavish's upside is with 40g and 70pts just two seasons ago. .

The top destination teams don't have room for him and won't blow the roster up to add him at 15m. While he dicks about, the teams that want him, like Seattle, are going to pivot. He could end up on a team he doesn't want to be on, getting paid less than he wants. I asked about this in the winter....what happens when all the players try to force themselves to the same 5 - 10 teams?....there's limited roster spots and cap space...it makes sense that many of them will have to settle.

Seems like they should be letting teams that he is willing to go to talk to him, otherwise what’s the point of letting a team like Seattle talk to him after working out a trade, if he was never willing to extend there.
