A real jerk thing
lookin 4 ward to discussing that Eric Karlsson trade with everyone.
Unless Jarry plays like the one time only glitched out play session of nhl 95 I had on my JVC X-Eye (Sega Genesis but made by JVC) where goalies got cloned into suped up turbo forwards that could warp check and shoot harder than Jesus. They will struggle towards the end of the season at scoring goals if they go with as is.
Bucco's are still hard to watch..Baseball is cool if you could stay awake long enough to watch it.
Went to a local game the other day, literally the most boring thing I've done that was considered 'a night out'.
Coming from a guy who as a kid lived and breathed baseball.
If Kyle Dubas cannot fix the 3rd line Looking forward for Pens fans booing him next lol..lookin 4 ward to discussing that Eric Karlsson trade with everyone.
I'm indifferent.lookin 4 ward to discussing that Eric Karlsson trade with everyone.
I dunno Emp, what is losing in 4 games gonna do for us besides make a few schmucks in Boston a few bonuses?People complaining about trading 2 1sts for Karlsson make me laugh. There is almost no chance that anyone the Penguins draft with their next 2 1sts are going to make any difference with the level of the team after Crosby and Malkin retire. You’re likely getting a complementary top-6 guy or a solid top-4 guy at best with that pick, but what does having a 23 year old guy like that when the rest of your team sucks?
The team does need to rebuild the farm to prepare for the future, but any individual pick the Penguins have isn’t going to change how bad they’re going to be after Crosby and Malkin retire. You still need to draft a new core with top end picks after Crosby and Malkin retire, and the team is just too good at this point to bottom out like that. They may not be a real contender, but they’re way too good to finish in a spot to get a future core piece.
They absolutely shouldn’t be trading any 1sts in 2026 or beyond. But 2024 or 2025? What is a 1st sitting between 13 and 20 going to do for the Penguins?
Why do you hate Grier so much?I know but if it were real I would be thrilled. Not that I don't want EK, but because Grier is awful and we should steer clear of him.

Re-signing Jarry is the definition of not trying to compete for the cup.i think you are obligated to try and get another cup with crosby and malkin still performing at this level and it almost definitely wont work but its indefensible to not to try
Sure, but at what level does that turn into JR 2.0 with us throwing dumb amounts of assets at players that don’t really have any way of improving things?i think you are obligated to try and get another cup with crosby and malkin still performing at this level and it almost definitely wont work but its indefensible to not to try
There's exactly 2 teams in this race according to reports. The Sharks cap dump is the highest. They will not get 2 1sts.People complaining about trading 2 1sts for Karlsson make me laugh. what was the better option?Re-signing Jarry is the definition of not trying to compete for the cup.
We must have a stronger 3rd line...that line is just plain sad.what was the better option?
60 and 70 points behind the Art Ross winner. Pittsburgh fans and management talk like they're still top 3 Forwards in the league, that give us this huge advantage over everyone else.i think you are obligated to try and get another cup with crosby and malkin still performing at this level and it almost definitely wont work but its indefensible to not to try
I don't like how he handled the Timo Meier matter. Why do you hate Grier so much?

I don't know but the 3rd line is vomit material... sorry to gross people out..I wonder what Dubas' backup plan is, if he decides that Grier is dragging this out too long, and when (if?) he is gonna shift focus.
Weren't you scolding the board earlier for comparing Dubas to past GM's?Summer of Parise/Suter 2.0
