Nah, Kadri steps in right away as the 2c. They just signed Donskoi. Now they just need to send us Newhook in a deal for Kreider, and they've completed their 2nd line.

I did say 7-9. I think Lemieux and DeAngelo could top $2m each. Buchnevich will depend on how much term you give him.

DeAngelo cap hit was under 1m last year.. same with lemieux. 2m is to much of a raise if you sign them for 2 years. 1.5aav each is easily enough. Buch also made under 1m on the cap. Buch for 3m aav for 4 years. I think 6m is all we need to resign them. Trading krieder and names for picks and prospects works great

Kerfoot put up almost as many points as Kadri did last year. I guess the theory is that that’s just because Kadri was playing behind Matthews and Tavares... but still.

I think it might be somewhat salary neutral.

And Vesey was only making ELC money before getting $2.275m on his second contract. We will see, but I’m skeptical that they’ll come that cheap.
