According to the reports, it was offered, but I haven't seen anyone say that he actually signed it. I doubt he would. If they want to up the offer to 9.5 mil, maybe Aho will sign.

That's impossible. Do the math. Works out to like 2,500 paid at $100 a pop for 41 games. No chance they would be in business if they only brought in 10M over an entire season.

Im all for paying good players. I'm not for paying 28 year old wingers that can barely crack 30 goals when we are in the second year of a rebuild.

So, who did you want instead? Presumably no one.

You can complain about similar strategies that didn't work out, but I think that is bogus.

In 80 years, they have one Cup, so the other strategies haven't been all that successful either.
