Hes suppose to get better assets for players who are still decent. Hes not adding any value as a GM.

Hertl is still decent, that’s why he got a 1st, and Vegas‘ 1st from last year. However, he is owed a lot of money for a lot of years, so Grier had to pay a couple of mid picks to rid himself of the contract.
