Unfortunately Fox has already been removed from the 1st Power Play unit in favor of Werenski and it appears his ice time is being reduced.

All the sites have Canada way ahead in the underlying numbers. It seems accurate. They've had a couple of chances in a game where nothing has happened.

A good USA third would put them ahead.
I kind of think this is what a good game looks like for this US team. Better goalie, better defense, less skill, grind out the win.

Hating on a team when your team isn't even playing is just tiresome hate porn. I can't visit a GDT here without pessimism and hate? Can you watch a game that has nothing to do with the Rangers and not bitch about it?
seems like people are having fun watching a good game and you're the bitching? food for thought brah

Imagine tuning into this as a non-hockey fan on the premise that it's the very best the sport has to offer and this is the game that happens.

Should be no surprise that one of the Norris candidates is getting PP time over Fox. Fox got the look to start because of the respect he has earned, but this year Werenski is just better.

Spamming unscreened shots from 25 feet out aren't valued the same as 2nd and 3rd rebounds.

FWIW, almost ALL of Canada's damage in that period came on 1 shift, but thats 1 more shift than the US had where they did much of anything sans' Larkin's post.
I'm not disagreeing that Canada has had the better of the chances, but in a game where a team has a 2-1 lead & the same amount of shots, they haven't been outplayed as bad as that dumb meter would like one to believe. This has been a pretty even game, IMO.
