Canada had 3 pretty good scoring chances on a single shift late-ish in that period which is triple what the US had that entire period. The US hasn't really generated anything 5v5. I think the second goal was a tougher stop than it's getting credit for but the first goal was bad.

This game started off on fire but has settled into what most of these games have been - a close, relatively low event game.

All the sites have Canada way ahead in the underlying numbers. It seems accurate. They've had a couple of chances in a game where nothing has happened.

A good USA third would put them ahead.

now. Did he get zapped by the Monstars? He should be able to snap out of it for this. The truth is he’s low intensity, not physically imposing at all, and not a great skater.

Because if scoring chances are 3 to 1 thats... heavily tilted based off of whats happened.
