IIRC it was Nash-Crosby-Iginla in Vancouver and Kunitz-Crosby-Bergeron in Socchi.

I remember that Crosby had such difficulty finding chemistry with linemates in Vancouver that they brought Kunitz to the 2014 Olympics in Socchi. It's funny now because it seems like the complete opposite, Crosby seems to mesh immediately with talented linemates at the international level now.

Nash was possibly the worst possible linemate for Crosby. And in 2014 those were his linemates by the end but he started out with Jeff Carter instead of Bergeron.

Who was "puck poise?" I can't remember. Someone had more puck poise than Sid and the dude was basically out of the league in a year.

Claude Giroux being claimed as the best player in the world in 2008.

Flyers fans chanting Crosby Sucks as he just torches them for 20 years.

Dubinsky and his whining. I can honestly say I think Dubinsky was Sid's biggest pest and he was able to get Sid to act out of character a lot.

There was a contingent of Detroit fans that called him Secondary Sid because "all of his assists were secondary assists."

Scored 50 and it was a fluke.

Won awards and it was Bettman gifting them to him because he's the golden boy.

The list goes on and on. The 2000's the content here was amazing - super knowledgable people who love all hockey. Dudes watched games from all over the world for fun and would report back. Outside of Pens board...cesspool of Crosby and Pittsburgh hate.

When it came to Dubinsky he did get under his skin, but when it mattered most in the playoffs Sid always came out on top.

It is insane to think about. My wife actually asked me once what HFBoards was when she say me typing away. I told her a message board, and then explained to her that I have been bullshitting about Pittsburgh sports with the same people for over 20 years.

I first saw HF when we drafted Fleury. It was still a relatively new thing, if I remember correctly. Amazing what it is now. We truly made it when Bob McKenzie would come on and just murder shitposters. Good times.
