I don't know if it's better if USA bombs out and Sully gets embarrassed and add to the "maybe this guy's not a top 2 coach but a complete idiot after all" realization, or if they kill it all tourney and Sully decides he wants to go elsewhere to utilize his talents in a place better suited to chase Cups.

The USA bombing out is definitely the answer. Whatever would make the ownership group realize that he isn’t some top tier guy who is impossible to replace is what would be best and I think that’s a total flameout.

It's stark how different the USA WJC team plays to this USA 4 Nations team. Just absolutely zero command of each shift, swagger, or aggressive attacking style that you see with the WJC team.

-edit- I don't think I've ever seen a player that gets so consistently slobber-knocked as Jake does. Dude takes such punishment all the time.

Just like the Pens, the US is basically stuck in their zone until Finland shoots the puck. You have to pray they score in transition or it isn’t happening.
Just play a simple zone defense to counter their cycle. It’s not that difficult. You have some real intelligent players on your team.

Jake gets f***ed up a lot yeah. That'll happen when you're not that big and still go into corner battles
