I think Matt Boldy is a tremendous hockey player. Big, powerful, skates very well, excellent edge work, great hands, goes to the dirty areas.

Minnesota has a fantastic core player to build around. I remember praying he'd fall to us in 2019.

I'm an American, so I'm required to root for Team USA. And living in Sweden I can't pull for Finland, obviously (I still love you, Risto).

But man, USA is full of guys I don't like much. Eichel, mostly. And Matthews just creeps me out. Matt Tkachuk, though somehow I really like Brady. Not huge on McAvoy or Miller, either.
This team is coming close to that late 90s roster that saw me give up on the USA for nearly a decade.

Oh well. Here's hoping the heels win.
